Demographic Upsurge VS Repugnant Positions

The Repugnant Party is adopting positions that are increasingly damaging to the country, from stealing elections, falsehoods, supporting dictators, and furthering genocidal activities around the world, while maintaining harmful practices to the environment; they are certainly not the GOP – Government of the People! The Demographic Party, although lacking the same will to win as the Repugnance, are in tune with the societal changes that are steadily occurring in the US. Those two parties sum up the situation and directions that are available to voters, between Repugnance and Demographics.

It’s this potential of the new Demographics that scares the Repugnant Party causing them to adopt measures that could cause their end as a viable political institution in the future. But the Repugnance, if anything, know how to hold onto their agenda, no matter how unfeasible, amoral, or destructive it might be. They even try to arrest the tide of social movements through the separation of immigrant children from parents, yet the changing Demographics have the seeds of the future that might herald in a new era, that is temporarily put on hold by the Repugnance. The Repugnance cannot however, stop the organic processes of Nature, and eventually must recognize Climate Change is more than a hoax.

After much deliberation, THE NEW TIMES HOLLER! has decided to endorse the DEMOGRAPHIC PARTY over the REPUGNANT PARTY. THE HOLLER! thinks the people must see what time it is and vote like their lives depend on it, because they do! Some solutions to the US’s voting problems are:

To have voting on Sundays

Make national voting days a national holiday

Each US-born citizen should automatically become a voter upon reaching the age of 18, as should naturalized citizens automatically become voters upon reaching 18, if they are not already 18.

Abolish the Electoral College

There are too many state laws that create complicatoins that can lead to some some people's voting rights being denied. Make voting federally controlled, including early voting, registrations, with all regulations and voting dates determined by the federal government.

Voting should be held in local sites that follow federal guidelines, such as in libraries, schools, community centers, post offices, and other easily accessible polling places.

The Holler! believes that although currently the Repugnance have both legislatures, a Repugnant president, and the Supreme Court is stacked with Repugnance, the Demographics will eventually prevail.

The Holler! does have issues with the Demographic Party’s occasional lack of fight. We also think the Party misplaces its interests when it agonizes over losing white southerners, rural areas, and groups that were the Party's earlier supporters. Instead, they should nourish the great potential of the evolving population of immigrants, women, and the young, groups that are not coming from their traditional supporters, and get them into the voting process and to run for office. Nevertheless, the Demographic Party offers the most promise between the two parties.

Indeed, the Repugnant party seems bent on altering the historical and social fabric of American traditions and institutions, threatening the country’s stability and future.
